Our organization
Founded in 2015 as a small robotics team, HobbyRobot quickly grew into one of the top FIRST® LEGO® League teams in the Czech Republic and Central Europe. Since then, our association has expanded to include multiple student teams competing in FLL and other FIRST programs. Today, our main focus is on educating children and adults in LEGO robotics through hands-on, learning through play experiences-designing tailored programs for schools, running summer camps, and delivering a wide variety of educational workshops throughout the year.
At HobbyRobot, our mission is to make robotics and technology accessible, engaging, and fun for everyone. Through hands-on LEGO robotics workshops, school programs, summer camps, and community events, we encourage curiosity, creativity, and collaboration. By learning through play, we help participants overcome any fear of technology and discover the joy of building, experimenting, and innovating.
For our organizational needs, we later as a team established HobbyRobot z.s. as a registered Czech association IN 21373086, providing the legal foundation and transparency needed to partner with schools, sponsors, and institutions in delivering our robotics programs and workshops and supporting students in their development.
